Wanted: Would Love to Work with Food Again...
Hi. I have just returned from Boulder, CO and am looking for work. In 1998 I spent eight months volunteering as a prep-cook in the kitchen of the Kushi Institute, the home for Macrobiotics, in Becket, MA. I went there because I had been vegetarian for a few years but had never learned how to cook in a healthy way for myself...and I LOVED IT. Being in a kitchen and preparing healthy food was wonderful. Since then I have cooked for two residential weekend retreats and received very positive feedback.

I would love to get back into a kitchen environment. While Macrobiotics is a whole foods, vegetarian, healthy way of preparing food, I am open to any type of food as long as the people are fun and positive overall (I know kitchens can be stressful places, but the attitude and energy of those there make all the difference).
